What do I do when my love is away?
(Does it worry you to be alone?)
How do I feel by the end of the day?
(Are you sad because you’re on your own?)
No, I get by with a little help from my friends,
Get high with a little help from my friends,
Gonna try with a little help from my friends.
The Beatles

A gift from Argentina ended up in my Guatemalan kitchen via a Belgian farm.

These Dutch goodies came directly in the mail.

A handmade amulet from a girl I shared a room with for a year in a house shared with 8 more people. Crazyness!

What half my friend’s Facebook profile pictures look like after a weekend of bungee-jumping. (Mine would be the right bottom corner…)

New shoes! Because why would a friend leave money for the electricity and water bills after her two-week stay when she could buy me shoes instead? (Not that any of it was necessary, but I will take the shoes any time!).)

Having fun with miniature stuff. Just because. (Since we´d bought up all the miniature furniture in Guatemala City’s central market, the nice lady gave us a bird each for free.)

This should not be mistaken for tequila. At €0,50 per shot it is better called DIESEL..
January 30th – Love. Or: Attachment.
(Not meaning to objectify love through these photos, but they make for good story-telling, representing thoughtful gifts and good moments shared with people. And since I’m a bit neurotic about privacy, I’d rather show photos of things than faces.)
